Juliet and Her Romeo

Freaking over the moon to share that I get to do a play in New York! I have worked my whole life to do this, and it is incredible that it’s finally happening.

Turn to Flesh Productions takes old verse plays, and turns them into new verse— this time centering women and LGBTQ+ characters. In this version, written by Emily C.A. Snyder with language from Shakespeare’s original text, there is more than one love story, and Verona is more complex than ever before.

I’ll be playing Prince Escalus, now a woman (!)— perhaps with a love of her own.
